Mississippi ratifies the 13th Amdendment!

....in 2013. To be fair, Mississippi voted to ratify the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery, way back in 1995. But someone forgot to let the folks in Washington know, so it didn't count. Now the state filed the paperwork so Mississippi is on record as supporting the abolition of slavery.

In the article linked below, one legislator gushes about the 1995 vote: "It was unanimous. . . . Some didn’t vote, but we didn’t receive a ‘nay’ vote." A lot to be excited about.
